WEP can be cracked by a stop watch...

    At least use WPA!

the problem with tkip(which gives a wpa option) is that you have to reset the key at certain intervals....and i haven't got any like super secret info which needs loads of protection. and it only gives me an rekey interval limit of maximum 10,000 seconds!! lol?? i can't be resetting it every 10,000 seconds?...or have i misunderstood the system?....im so confused!

    help!

it makes the computer/iphone/ other wifi devices resend the key every x amount of seconds, it doesn't require you to do anything.

    EDIT:
Fastest time I have ever cracked wep is 20 seconds.....

wel surely that will be annoying to the user having to retype the key in all the time, or does it do that automatically?....

You beat me. I got 42 seconds. :(

I was actually near you when I did it, down in Van Nuys, proving to my brother why WEP is bad.

hmm...i seem to be having a bit of a problem....when i set the password and press apply as it says on the manual it goes back to the homepage of the wireless security and says in the encryption type section(drop down menu): disable.

    wots going on??
