I'm having problems sharing files and getting my two vista notebooks to communicate. Both machines are on the same workgroup with file shaing enabled and network discovery on. That said, my desktop using xp can share files with both of the vista running notebooks. In addition, I am unable to play games over the lan between my vista notebooks. I can only create games on my xp desktop with either of the two notebooks joining the game. When creating games on either of the two vista notebooks, none of the other machines can join.

Any thoughts and input to help me get my home network properly running is greatly appreciated!

What security software do you have on the laptops? Have you disabled them? Have you disabled the Windows Firewall?
