    urgent: how to put password?

    question.. I got a linksys wireless router... how could I put a passwprd in it so that not everyone could access throught is\t?

    oh my!! i really need help!! the linksys manual came with instruction (congifure the router) but it does not tell us how to put a password when connecting via wireless

    Use WPA instead of wep if you can. Also, if you need anymore help i can assist you.

    And for the router's admin password, connect to 192.168.1.1 (default login is blank username and "admin" as password). Change the router control password from "admin" ASAP.
