It seems the 5100 is a Half PCIE Mini Card while the 5300 is just a regular PCIE Mini Card. Im not sure of the difference. But there isnt any major difference. The Half Mini Card seems to be cheaper for some reason.Same in performance though i think. How much price difference?

The 5300 uses the new 3x3 configuration (3 transmit and 3 receive antennas) with a theoretical maximum of 450Mbps. The 5100 uses the current 1x2 configuration (1 transmit and 2 receive antennas) for a theoretical maximum of 300Mbps. As of today, there are no 3x3 access points. This is a future technology, but it's just a matter of time before the 450 Mbps access points are available.

So, to sum up: the 5300 is the new one. ;)
