    switch-on wireless in aspire 3503

    I'm trying to activate the wireless link in an Acer Aspire 3503WLMi. Cannot find a physical switch or a function switch (none with antenna symbol). Have prodded and tried combinations of function switches, but none tried have worked. How should it be activated?
