hey like the title says im needing help streaming video to my 360. every time i try to play videos from my laptop it says i need a video update for my 360 and that i need to play the video again when hooked up to xbox live. this is where the problem comes. i cant stream the video and be hooked up to xbox live at the same time. does anyone know of anything that i could buy that would allow me to essentially plug two ethernet cables into one port or where i could find the update i need online so i can burn it to a disc and update the 360 that way

thanks in advance for your responses

nvm i got it working through tversity. for anyone else who is having the same issue download tversity here tversity.com, go to settings and next to the transcoder icon theres a drop down menu. click on windows media 7 and it should bypass the need for that update.

I don't know about the xbox, but if it has a web browser on it, you could upload and stream files straight from your laptop using orb. It's great for the wii, the opera browser is limited in what kind of files it can play, but with orb, you can make it so all your videos are flash, so it works with the wii. This way, I use the wii as a DVD player. However, upload and download bandwidth will be taken, and I have no idea about xbox 360. Lol.
