    strange fault internet access

    Hi,all,
    After a vista 32 auto-update, my internet connectivity is gone.I am working with a hp dv9668 for 9 months now, and had no problems.I use a lan cabel ( rj45 connectors)
    I had windows xp, vista and win7 in multi-boot all running fine.After the update i have limited network on all of them.I have tested the modem connection with a other laptop, this works fine.Then i have tested my second connection (from a desktop), the hp still have limited network.The green led lights, the orange-one blinks.Then i have done a reinstal of vista, with the original drivers,: limited network. Windows keeps saying: no lancard.(fault10)
    When i uses Linux:i have never surfed quicker.All o.k.
    I have setup a wirless network (with a usb-stick and router),the same: limited network.
    Can someone help please?
