Intel frequently updates their drivers, have you gone to get the latest version?

I had a Compaq Presario that I had a NetGear(MA521) wireless card installed into and a Netgear wireless router(MR814). I could never get the two to work good together. I updated the driver, the firmware on the router, installing and uninstalling software, and moved the router around, but I still had problems with the connection being slow or losing it. I got a Thinkpad. The card works flawlessly. I can go 100 feet away, outside never have a problem. The software on both machine is the same except the drivers. Maybe you could purchase a cheap PCMCIA card to see if you can get that to work. Preferably somewhere you can take it back if it don't work. Good Luck.

    Zazonz,

Unfortunately, I got Zt3000 from Ebay. It is very hard to return.

Does anyone know which router the ZT3000 works fine with?

I don't. Maybe you could get a cheap, like $20, pcmcia wireless card to see if can get it to work any better. Maybe you can get some help from Netgear or HP. Even if you have to pay a few bucks, its better than having to buy a new router. Try updating the firmware on the router as well. Good Luck.

    Dear all,

The problem has been mostly resolved after I bought a new wireless G router from NetGear. The problem is netGear MR814 which is not compatible with Intel Pro 2200bg.

    Thanks for your advise!
