    *UPDATE*

Here is an update, just today they called me and told me now they're using a different method so we can log in.
Now I had to setup a connection using PPPoE and enter the user name and password and then connect to the internet.

now, if i enter those into my router (after connecting their wireless access point to my WAN port on the router) will I be able to share the internet service?
Do I have to clone the mac address too? where can I find it? before they changed the login method it was possible to read the MAC address in the connection window but now its not visible there and I could only see the an IP address. I know they have entered a MAC address in their access point (cuz there was some problem with it and they fixed it) but they wont give me the password to their access point.

    so, any tips?

    thanks a lot :)

    *************

    hello everyone...

at the moment i'm very far away from home and staying in a tiny village on the mountains in lebanon. I've managed to get internet subscription but the connection is horrible.

long story short, every time i want to use the internet i have to start the browser and sign in at http://172.12.12.1/ before i'm able to use the connection. meaning, i can only sign in with one laptop at a time.

the way the connection work is this, they've installed a huge antenna on our house, inside it they put an access point which I hooked to my wireless router for better range inside the house. it uses ipv4 or whatever. i have 3 laptops which i want to give them access to the internet all at the same time.
i tried accessing the net wirelessly with one laptop and then connecting a cable to the other. it worked and did share the internet. but i want to do it wirelessly. is there any way to do this through the router?

I'm using 3Com ADSL Wireless router. of course i'm not using the adsl port. i'm just using it as a router.

so bottom line, how to sign in and stay signed in to allow any computer on my access point to access the internet without having to sign in at http://172.12.12.1/ every time?

    thanks :)

I don't understand how can you get internet if you are not using your ADSL port?

    What am I missing?

He's connecting through a wireless service.

Have the AP feed the WAN port on the router. Then set the router up with the connection info. You may need to clone your MAC address into the router.

Man, that's must be extremely expensive, but yes, you are right, he may need to clone the MAC.
