I need to find a way to use an Excel spreadsheet in different computers, over LAN and Internet in different locations.

I need to have the same spreadsheet running and updating as changes are made from all different locations.

Google Docs is not an option, since I need Excel tools.

    Thanks in advance.

Shared Folders on all the computers?

Make one the main one, and put the file in there.

Then run the file directly from there on the other computers. and Save to the same place (overwriting the old one).

Then, when the other computer opens it, it will be the newest saved one. ;)

....only thing, is when its saved and overwritten, it probably wont be live updated on any other computers IF the file is already open. You'll need to exit the program and re-open the file to get the new one. (Again, only if the "old" one is Already open) :)

Although, maybe im simplifying the situation a bit...

edit: the above is for LAN...

For over the internet... maybe something like MediaFire, which lets you keep folders orangized on thier servers and you could upload the new saved file to there, and then DL and open on the other computer (on a different network)... open it, edit it, save it, and then upload it back to MediaFire (and replace the old one). basically the same concept, except the shared folder is "replaced" with MediaFire. :)

This sounds more like something that would be handled under webDAV

Most all of MS products allow you to link files together over a network. But in all cases it's just some form of file sharing.
