    sending files wirelessly

    I recently got a ibook and i would like to send my files from my old toshiba laptop wirelessly. I figured out how to connect them wirelessly however i am not sure how to transfer my files one to the other.

    If someone could please explain it would be greatly appreceated.

    1. make sure you can see either the destination or originating machine from the other.

    2. push or pull your files via explorer in windows or drag/drop to the other machine from the apple box

    edit: it's no different than if you were to do it over a (hardwired) LAN. the fact that your connection is wireless or hardwired is transparent when it comes to the way you xfer files.

    I think he is asking what to click and stuff like that. In the configuration "control panel" of your ibook, go to sharing and click on the "share files with a windows computer". On your toshiba, open ie, and type the ip address of the ibook and the useraccount, eg: 189.0.0.1/cheziyi and it will promt you to type a password which will be your ibook account password, and you can see the documents in your ibook.
