Can anyone recommend a reliable, fast wireless router? I have an Intel Centrino 3945 a/b/g mini-card. Thanks.

Don't get the WR54G or the GS model there JUNK. If you go Linksys go for the WRT54GL model.

The WRT54G (v8) model works fine for me. One computer's on ethernet and the other's on secured 802.11g.

P.S. uTorrent works fine with this router. I get the same speeds as before when this computer was directly connected to the cable modem.

I'm using the Netgear WPN824 RangeMax wireless router. I have a largish, 2-storey house and am able to connect well anywhere in the house.

I also use a linksys, i use a version 3 model wrt54gs. it runs with DD-WRT firmware on it, and it is awesome. really a great great router. the new versions of DD-WRT are easy to install and work with all the latest wrt54 variants too. easy install, and they really make your router into a much nicer peice of equipment.

My wireless card in the laptop is an integrated linksys chip supporting speedbooster, so i got the linksys wireless speedbooster router to match up. they worked great before i flashed the firmware, and they work even better now. the firmware does support speedbooster mode but you are no longer limited to linksys hardware versions. its called afterburner under DD WRT i think.

    Hope this helps.
