Hey Guys
i just bought d-links dualband wireless roouter (di-784). My question is how do i get my laptop to use both the A and G frequencies simultaneously from the router, which it claims to be able to do. My laptop is a toshiba m40, which has both A and G wireless connectivity, and sorry if this question has already been answered, please point me to it.
Thanks'
Nick

When doing the setup and configuration, did it give you the option to do this?

ive looked but i cant seem to find anything that will allow me to connect A and G simultaneously. Anyone?

i think you may be misunderstanding what simultaneously means in this case.
your wifi card in your laptop can only connect at either a,b, or g. however, your router can accept incoming connections from different sources.
what that means is that your router can simutaneously connect with an 'a' card and a 'g' card. but a notebook can only connect one way at a time (if you have a 'g' card, it will connect at 'g' speeds) -
Why do you need to connect to A and G at the same time. The router (I think) offers 2 connections A and G, not both A and G at the same time. You can only connect to one of your choose an the laptop.

ahhhh. ok that makes sense, i totally misunderstood what that meant. thanks for clearing it up for me.
