    problem with wireless

    hello, i am at school and my school have free wireless connection. when i try i to connect i am able to connect and it shows on my laptop that i am connect too. however, when i try to connect with explorer, i am not able to. i try to dl new web browser but nothing changes. i am connect yet i cant go on the net with any browser. i dont know why but can some one help me solve this problem??? thank you

    What happens when you open the browser? Some require login even though their access to the router is open.

    Hi moomoo,

    I have similar problem with my wireless connection as well when I am at school. Then I went over to the my school's technology and they set up the wireless network for me. I think that's what you need also. You may want to go to either your library or school technology building and ask them to either provide you with the software or just complete the whole set up process for you. This is actually the school security network connection that you must have first in order to use their internet connection. Hope that help.
