Check if the WiFi network card drivers are installed. Look in device manager.

Do you see the wireless card? It would be listed under something like network adapters.

If not, do you see any device denoted by a yellow question mark?

I don't see the network adapter option or wireless card anywhere. There is a PCMCIA adapter- generic cardbus controller. There's a yellow question mark like this:

    ?other devices
    ?ethernet controller
    ?multimedia audio congtroller
    ?o2micro smartcardbus_reader
    ?pci modem
    ?video controller (vga compatible)

Go to Dell's website, and look under Help and Support. There is a section specificly for drivers/software for your Dell notebook.

Do you know the specific model/name of the wireless adapter? Broadcom xxxx, Dell xXxX, Intel xXxx.

I think the BIOS might list what wifi adapter you're using.

Have you already tried either of these? Bost are listed as being for the 1350 of that model. The first one is newer & updated.
