so we just got out netgear rangemax connected and i need a way to get a connection in my room for my PC and my xbox 360. i still might go all wired but its a bit inconvenient having to run the line thru the basement and such so then i considered wireless. i dont exactally wana dish out 100 for the 360 wireless adapter so this is what i came up with and i just need to make sure itll work b4 i buy it.

    netgear router> wireless access point> switch> computer/ xbox

heres the access point and the switch. thx for the help

The AP must be for each wireless device unless you setup a bridge between your nic port on the PC to the 360.

If you want to setup a network in your room then connect to netgear you will need to AP that support bridging.

Run wire you will thank your self later.
