    new 64bit to old 32bit

    i have 2 comps on 1 network and want to transfer a 16gb file from one to the other how do i network them also one is vista 32 and the other is vista 64 will there be any incompatiblity.

    Go to Network and Sharing Center, turn on Sharing. Wait a few minutes as the two computers have a little chat.

    On the computer with the file, Click on View Computers and Devices. You will see all the computers and your router (at least) in the window that appears.

    Double Click on the computer you want the file on and it should show you a PUBLIC folder. Drag the file you want to move there.

    Wait for the file to move over and then on the computer you wanted the file on pull it out of your public folder and put it where you want.

    64bit doesn't change data at all. It just changes the executable programs. So no, there will be no incompatibility at all.
