I want to know what revision of the Intel 4965AGN I'm running, so I can figure out what Draft N version it's running...N v1.06 or N v2.0! once I know, I can maximize my networking performance from the WBR-1310's G I'm currently using. 320mbit is so much more appealing then 54mbit! especially when my parents laptop has a 600MB file I want, or I have a 350MB file they want.
many thanks!!!
PS - I'm dealing with Intel's email support, trying to get this handled, but Javier is having a difficult time helping me. first he thought I had a Intel 3695 or some such, and now that he knows we're talking about the 4965AGN, he thinks I want it installed and recommends I get it done by a certified technician. so I just wrote another email stating it's standard for my notebook (which I have stated make/model, where he then referred me to their support download site) and that I just want to know what VERSION of Draft N it's running!!!

I found this in the Intel 4965AGN Product guide:
“Draft-N” refers to: IEEE P802.11 n*/D2.0 Draft Amendment....
So I think it is Draft 2.0.
Hope this helps -
edit - on top of this, the Intel 4965AGN has been out for some time, so I won't doubt that some of them only supported the first revision of the Draft N standard. is there a way to find out what revision of card actually supports what? being v1.06 and v2.0 are so different, they're not compatible, so I doubt a driver of firmware flash update would make older v1.06 model's run v2.0......see the quandry I'm in? I want to know without a doubt, what I have...cause then I can get the proper router!
networking aficionado's, I need your help w/Intel 4965AGN
