ive been trying to fix this for the past 3 hours. Just recieved my e1505 today and works great except internet wont connect right!.. ive been chatting with a guy from dell for the last 2 hours but he hasnt been much help so far... right now hes having me remove the intel proset/wireless program and then restart.. my computer recognizes my network, but gives me limited/no connectivity.. says my computer is not being assigned a ip address.. this is so frustrating, i have had several people come over and use my network with no problem, but yet i cant get my own laptop to work on it.. any ideas of what could be wrong?

you've probably already been asked this by the dell guy, but did you try repairing the connections (rightclick>repair on the taskbar icon). also, have you tried on anyone else's network? it could be something with your router...

Do you have encryption on your router? Did you add the "key" to your wireless client? Are you sure that you are connecting to your router and not someone else's? Do you have mac filtering enable on your router?

yes, check the keys, WPA WEP etc then if you are positive you have all of that reboot your router and set it to channel 11. this is a common issue.
