I had wireless internet for a while now, but ever since my neighbour got his three months ago, my laptop has been going crazy. Before, my laptop would find my wireless signal, and I would log in with the encription.

Three months ago when my neighbour got his, whenever I connect to the internet from my laptop, it disconnects in less than five minutes, over and over.

Is there some way that I can prevent my laptop from grabbing his signal, and disconnecting me from my own wireless network? It's gotten to the point where I can't log onto MSN or download files because it just disconnects me.

    Thanks in advance!!

Make it so that the SSID is set to your wireless name only. The default setting I think is set to 'Any'. Go to your 'Network Connections', right click on your wireless adapter, click properties. Under the General tab, click on the 'Configure' button. Now click on 'Advanced', then SSID at the bottom. Enter your wireless network's name. That should work.
