    need help with wireless, cant find anyone to help

    ok here is my problem: i get error message 10047 it says an adress incompatable with the requested protocol was used. I am trying to start my windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ICS). Im trying to connect my computer to my wireless router, any help on how i can do this?

    You're talking about 2 different things when you mention ICS and simply connecting a desktop/laptop wirelessly to a wireless router. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? What equipment do you have (ISP/modem/router/operating system along with the piece of hardware you're using for the desktop to receive the signal (ie: internal wi-fi card, pcmcia card).

    Your description is just a bit to vague.
