I'm trying to connect to a wireless network on my ipod touch to my neighbors wireless, he gave me his username and password for the wireless. but it only gives me one option "network key"

do you have to some how encrypt the username and password into a full "key"? how does that work?

    thanks

What you need is the security (WEP, WPA, WPA2) key for his wireless. You will not need the userid and pw.

Yep, all you need is his security key...forget about the username.

Although, if the userid and password are the admin user/password for the router, you could reconfigure it to your liking I suppose.
