ok so I have a dir-655 set-up right now to my old desktop. I also have tivo set up on the network. When I got the router I had just gotten a dell notebook and that was also on the network. I had to send that back and I am currently awaiting the xps 1530. My question is this-my desktop is going to a friend so I will just have the 1530. Do I hook the cable directly into the router and the notebook picks up the signal automatically? When I bought the router the geek told me DO NOT use the installation cd. So I ended up calling d-link and they walked me through manual install. Also I have a canon pixma mp500. Do I have to hook it into the notebook when I want to print or can I make that wireless also? Sorry for all the questions but I want to be ready when the new puter' arrives.
    thanks
    steph
