    need help getting online with my laptap(router problem)

    I purchased linksys router(model wrt54g2) and i am unable to get online with my laptop...the laptop shows that i am connected but when i bring up my browser it will not go online....I current had a d-link router with the same two computers and it worked fine until it died...i hope someone will be able to help me out...i called linksys support with any luck

    Welcome to the forum!

    While connected go to Start--> Run and type cmd and hit enter. Then type ipconfig /all and hit enter. Post the results here.

    Also, make sure that the network is checked as a trusted network, and verify that your firewall or antivirus isn't blocking the network.
