well i have an asus m50vm-A1 notebook and one day I was playing with the bluetooth/wireless switch on the front of the notebook and once i went to turn it back on...........theres no wirless anymore ;( its only bluetooth

i kept switching it on and off but it only showed bluetooth is on/off...absolutely no wireless ;(

btw the wireless did work before until I stupidly went to turn it off....but it shouldnt have broken so quick right? i didnt even push it hard....

anywayz my connection still works when i use a cord to get internet but no more wireless...

so any suggestions and advice?? plzzzzzzz wanna get it fix before college

btw if your wondering what it says when i try to connect to a network it says "WIndows cannot find any additional networks. View your blah blah"

    1. Okay, i'm not sure what OS you r running but u should go to the "Network Connections" folder and make sure that ur wireless network is enabled there. Right click on it and enable it if it's not!

    2. And check to see if there is any other way of enabling ur wireless card, such as keyboard keys that has to be pressed to enable it. Something like the FN (Function key) and another key that looks like a "wireless" signal symbol. This key is usually to the top where the F1, F2....keys are.

    3. If the above doesn't solve ur issue u might want to try getting into ur BIOS to make sure the adapter isn't disabled there.

*I do not believe that ur WiFi card is enabled so check each tip above.*
