when i go onto the net with my laptop its fine, no disconnections. as soon as i switch my desktop on my laptop disconnects and cant get back on or keeps disconnecting every few minutes. my desktop connects fine ( until today where it just wouldnt connect at all, no idea why)
im using a dell 9300 and a wanadoo wireless router/modem.

any idea why this is happeneing?

Sounds like there could possibly be some sort of interference with the signals. Does this happen even when your laptop is far away from your desktop?

maybe check the number of DHCP users allowed in the router settings?

I dunno if this problem has been solved yet or not. But perhaps looking at the IP addresses and MAC address might help. They might be conflicting or your modem is cloning or getting the wrong MAC?

well my desktop decided to just not connect at all anymore so i phoned up my ISP providers tech support. he didnt help much, all we did was uninstall the software and reinstall it. after about 3 times of doing this it finaly worked and now everything seems fine.
im stumped as to waht the problem was but i hope it dosnt come up again.
    thanks
