    i was wondering if this wireless router im getn will work in other countries.im currently in uk and will be moving to oz next year and my provider now are sending me a free wireless router modem,i was just wondering if it will work down under. and wot about wifi devices? will a ipod touches wifi work in oz wifi hotspots etc?

    btw my post about using my internal wireless for my laptop as a hotspot for my psp didnt really work,but somehow my partner got the free wireless modem router from our provider being sent to us. kinda excited that i can go wireless soon lol

    Yes they should still work depending on your provider and what they support has nothing to do which what country you're in, but diffrent routers come with diffrent standards. All routers in the USA that are sold come with the DoD 802.11 standard already installed. You shouldn't have any problems as long as your isp supports what you're trying to use. I would use what they're giving you though.
