Hi, I currently have a modem with a built in router, but it has wireless b speeds. I wish to upgrade to g technology, but do not wish to buy another modem and router. Can i just buy a g router and connect it to my existing modem/router to have two wireless signals, even though i will be only using one?

yes, it is possible, that is what i have set up in my apt right, a b wifi router and a g wifi router; both are accessible and are connected to the same cable cxn.

however, my roommate did it so i'm not sure the exact setup.

if u need to know logistics, i can find out; if you just want to know if it's possible, then yes, it is

i will hit him up on how he set it all up and get back to you...

i don't usually xfer large files so i'm not sure, but i rarely see max bandwith consumption over any type of network cxn; wifi, lan, whatever
