hi i have mobile broadband (usb) and was looking to try and get the best out of it. i was thinking of something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOHXv5Jk-Ng but that is quite pricey. after looking things up i found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linksys-Com...6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1222235228&sr=8-6

my questions are, are those 2 the same thing? 3g router, if i'm not mistaken.. so will the 2nd link i provided work with my mobile broadband?

also, routers aside, is there a cheaper diy alternative?

    thank you

    a router doesn't boost a signal
get a wilson trucker antenna for ~ $30.00
and the adapter that goes with your usb modem

thanks for your input but i'm completely foreign to this. could you elaborate more on both the antenna and adapter (like how it might work and how the setup is)? and if "wilson trucker" is american/brand specific, is there a general name for the antenna cause i live in london.
