I have a m860tu that can't find my 4965 wifi card. Windows doesn't find it, its not in the device manager, nothing.
I know the card works, it was tested in another laptop.
    The 5100 card I have works 100%

    any ideas?

Since the 5100 works in the slot and the 4965 was tested; then I would say reseat the wireless card and try again....

    try fn + f11

I know the bluetooth doesn't show up until you hit fn + f12. Maybe this is similar?

nope...the BT comes up but not the wifi...
another odd thing I noticed today, while at school my connection would drop and I couldn't see any of the networks(there was 5-6). This happened when I was downloading games from steam(7mb connection)

Try uninstalling your old wireless first? I don't know good luck!
