    Hi all,
I currently have a wrt54g, it has given me some intermittent problems that make me have to go hard boot it. for example every once in a while it would drop the connection speed to 1Mbps and lose connectivity, or it would just lose connectivity and i wouldn't be able to figure out what to do..
and yes it is a version 5 of the router, I couldn't find a version 4/
Is the GS version any better or will it help me at all?

thanks in advance for the advice.

if you want to change the firmware, there's also a wrtgl model for about the same price.
