    hello..will using the 128bit security configuration compared to 64bit (wep) affect the speed of browsing and downloads? and also is v7 the lastest version? thats what i have based on the label below the router..thanks.

    I would change it to WPA. WEP is easy to crack. Since Cisco/Linksys cut the ram it may impact the performace. On old some of the older routers security use to mean a 10-15% hit.
