can a linksys wireless router, the WRT54g be connected to a netgear wired router, the RP614? will there be compability issues?

i've posted in another forum and the reply was that its better to use the same brands especially if its router to router.

linksys access point do work with netgear right? thanks in advance.

It's "better" to match, but it shouldn't make any difference. They use the same protocols, which makes it possible for non-matching brands to function together.

Yeah, really no difference, compare this:
A lot of people have Intel Wireless cards, and they connect to a linksys, netgear, etc. router.
