It's probably another network around your neighborhood with a Linksys router, with the default "linksys" SSID.

It's actually a secret invitation code for you to download all your porn -- just log on and download away!

There's another secret code called "default" -- you can download porn and MP3's there to your heart's content!

You only get one, where do you live in the boonies. I usually have half a dozen at my place, but I do live in a condo.

Course you could always drive to Lowes and do something like this

Probably not but the Police can.

Do not connect to any unknown hotspots, it is unsafe.

They don't even know how to configure their own router, they sure won't be able to trace you.

They can see the computer name and the mac address of the wifi card installed. Most war-driving is done with add in card and seperate antenna. Once the act is complete, the card is discarded, along with its mac address.
Anything you send over a unsecure wifi can be picked up by other users on the network, easy if the router is left set to default login & password. Always secure your wifi network with the strongest encryption supported.
