Hey people. I have a question on wireless routers. My friend and I are trying to install one in our dorms and we do not want people around us to freeload our internet. Does anyone know how to set up a password for those wireless? I've seen locks on some connections.

Thanks Daacon
Basically, just put in 192.168.1.1 like you would type in a web address. Then you have access to the router, and you can select any admin features you want on it.
If you want a detailed look of it, (and i mean detailed) check my guide -
Exactly what I am a looking for. Thanks!

hi Nick,
I want to say thank you for your wirless guide, and the network bridging is what I have been searching for. After, I've bridged the networks of my wirless and home networking, I have faster access on internet.
Excellent!!

Nick,
I have a question now. After I tried the network bridging, it worked very well. However, the Intel PROSet/Wirless was grey out with a red cross on the icon in the system tray. It said that "No support wirless adapters available in the system".
Then, I deleted the bridge connection and still could access wirless using Micrsoft to configure the wirless network. My problem is how I can use back the Intel wirless which I personally prefer.
Your help is appreciated.

Hi Joey, you are welcome, and i appreciate the compliment.
What Intel wireless are you talking about? Are you asking about Bridging? Or just plain wireless? -
hi Nick,
Thanks for your quick respond.
I'm using an Intel 2915 a/b/g wirless card on my Dell 710M. Just a few minutes ago, I re-installed the driver and the Intel PROSet/Wireless is working again. Interesting enough, although I have deleted the bridging connection, I can still access other computers and printer using my notebook. So, I'm happy again.
Thanks a lot.
