    hello..is there a way of knowing if there are people connected to my network? i'm using the linksys wrt54g..thanks.

    Turn on the router log in the setup and it should tell you the IP's and names of computers connected to your network.

    Make sure to change your default admin password and enable WPA along with mac address filtering.
