From the product specs, the only noticable difference I can see is that the 4 port switch feature and the parts warranty 1yr & 3yr.

Also the WRT300N includes more security features, i.e. Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2) and MAC or IP address filtering

Both have 4 port switches and both are WPA2 capable (mandatory for N standard BTW) and include MAC filtering.
Current version of WRT300N v.2 is based on Intel CPU @266MHz with 16MB RAM and Atheros radio-chip (previous version was better).
As for WRT150N it has two versions v1 and v1.1. Can't see any hardware difference and they both use the same firmware so I presume it's Broadcom 264Mhz CPU with 16MB RAM and 4MB flash. Version 1 is supported by DD-WRT but it's hard to guess if v1.1 gets any support too without the knowledge of hardware differences. WRT150N is discontinued so even if it seems to be better choice it makes one wonder why did they decide to stop producing it?

Where have you seen that? It is still advertised on the Linksys website...

I am interested in this router and I am wondering if I could use my old ADSL ethernet modem-router as a modem? I know the wrt150n comes without an ADSL modem so I was thinking I might use it instead of buying a new ADSL modem...Will it work? Any suggestion?
