hello, im a network IT for a radio station. my boss is thinking of broadcasting online. we are going to broadcast with songs at 96Kbps. i'd like to know if there is a limit to the number of listeners based on the bandwidth of our internet connection. if there is, how do i calculate the max number of listerners based on the bandwidth? lets say, on a 1Mbps line, with songs at 96Kbps, how many people can listen simultaniosly? (in case there is a limitation)
    thanks

What software are you thinking of using to online broadcast?

I'd first make sure you're legally authorized to broadcast music over the internet.
SHOUTcast in my experience is the easiest streamer to set up.
