hey guys ive been trying to figure this out. on my laptop i can connect to a signal but not directly to the internet. all i get is a local connection. it shows up like this:

    Unidentifed(CONPOINTCOM)
this seems to me like its contradicting itself.

the place the signal is coming from is an internet company called Connecing Point which is near the campus here in Norfolk, NE. there are two different signals comming from them: unsecured and secured. both signals are connectable only just local. i had a full connection for 24 hours. i have a friend that still has internet even though he didnt pay the 70 bucks for spring semester.

is there anything i can do (other than paying the money) to use the signal? i apologize if i am asking anything illegal.

He will have the passwords to get onto the internet that you would require, talk to him. Or talk to the tech people if you are living on campus.

It is only illegal if he does not want anyone else on his internet.

I am drumming to a piece called Conundrum right now (really)

As mentioned, talk to their tech or administrators.

Unfortunately, this thread has to be closed since bypassing those security measures that are stopping you from using their connections can not be discussed(see forum rules).
