I recently bought a netbook, Acer AO722, from newegg and decided to upgrade the wifi card in order to improve the reception range. After I install the driver, the whole system would randomly freeze. This can happen at any point while I'm using the computer with the wifi switch on, sometimes during the login screen.

While it was working, I could see a boost in both range and speed over the Broadcom one that came with the netbook. But if this keep happening, I'm afraid I'll have to return it and stick with the crappy Broadcom. Any suggestion please?

One weird thing though is that it never freezes in safe mode with networking. I browsed the internet for hours, no connection drop or anything.

    PS latest driver btw.
