Is an intel/Pro Wireless 2200BG network card compatible with a linksys wireless B broadband router? Im asking because i see people in forums complaining about the compatibility of their cards that come with intel centrino mobile technology and different routers. thanks

It is compatible with the router. I have intel/Pro Wireless 2200BG and 2195ABG, which are working fine with linksys router. If you are downloading a generic driver from Intel, your card will work better, and signal strength will be stronger. I had a problem with low signal when I installed drivers come with my notebook CD utilies. After installing driver from INTEL, I could see the differences, much better. However, I like Antheros wirless because it works better than Intel ones. Hope this will help you.
