how far away are you from the router?

Does the data rate slowly drop down before it disconnects?

Have you updated the drivers for your wifi card?

The BT error is not related, you just need to reinstall the correct BT stack.

I had the same problem with my HP 8510-p and my wrt600n , it was something with the router not the laptop card , got a new router have not lost connection once . try with another router see if you still have the problem

Signal dropping like that is almost always a sign of router problems first, and only secondarily a sign of a NIC problem.

ok even after upgrading firmware etc the prob still exists anytime i start a lot of downloading or leave if over night the "N" signal drops and wont reconnect without a restart "G" will work fine though>>>> HMMMMM......

if i am doing just basic web browsing no prob its once i start downloading it drops eventually

was thinking of trying this has any1 else tried it?

is this on 2.4 and 5 ghz band ? my wrt 600 only dropped the 5ghz band on a regular basis , 2.4 was steady , only dropped once a week or so .
Have not had a problem since I changed routers , nothing I did helped , tried ddwrt , sveasoft and still had the dropped signal almost daily 5 ghz once a week 2.4 . The router worked flawlessly for about 3-4 months , then it started acting up .

let me add , speeds with ddwrt and sveasoft were not great esp on 5ghz band .

That is exactly the problem I had , 2.4 only dropped once a week , if that . Don't know if there is a cure , I sure could not find one . Like I said for 4 months it worked without trouble , then the dropping of the 5 ghz n band which got progressivly worse . Went from dropping connection once a day to where it would drop every 20 minutes or freeze during video streaming .
Hope you can find out what is causing the problem .
