I'm putting a new lan module in my laptop. I'll uninstall it through device manager, but how about the driver and software, should I uninstall that too before putting in the new module?

I don't know if installing the new driver package from Dell would take care of all that stuff.

    Thanks

It safer to uninstall any old utilities- they may cause problems if left behind, especially "paired" with new ones.
