    iTunes & DSL

    OK, so I have BellSouth FastAccess(laugh) DSL.
    Everything is fine but while IE6 connects to the internet no other program will.
    Help?

    While a website is loading in IE...other programs don't work with internet?

    what about using firefox. do you get the same results?

    That's what I'd try first...trying with Firefox

    Only IE loads the internet.
    Tryied Firefox no luck
    iTunes just won't load the iTunes Store @ any time.
    Help!

    Control panel > Network connections > Troubleshoot > Diagnostics

    (Also, are you sure IE is actually loading pages instead of just showing stuff from the cache?)

    I did but don't now.
    EDIT: don't know where your going with this but, my notebook had Symantec antivirus on it & it connects.

    Could you look in the task manager to see if this process is running: CCEVTMGR.EXE

    What i recommend you to try is the following:

    Considering you're not currently using Symantec products, kill the task in the process manager, delete this file from your computer (keep it in the recycle bin just in case) and reboot your computer.

    (instead of deleting the file, I'd try removing it in msconfig first (Start-->Run-->msconfig) but don't know if it's there...)

    You could also disable this service...take a look in the startup tab for CCEVTMGR
