    i no longer need a network, how do i disable everything?

    i just setup a home network to transfer some large files to my laptop. now how do i disable the whole network or close it since i no longer need it?

    err well i guess not disable but...i just want to close the whole home network i set up. basically i want it so that i dont have a home network on both computers, or i want everything to be the way it was before i set up the home network.

    i plugged everything into a router, no wireless at all. i just dont want there to be a network at all, like no icons or shared folders

    Then delete all the stuff you want to get rid of then. Since you dont need it anymore.

    When two computers are plugged intot he same router, there's a network. If you don't want to share folders, turn that off.

    Yeah, im not under standing this, like brian said, 2 computers connected=network. If you dont want to network those then get rid of the router. But what are you exactly wanting to do?
