    okay first of all, im new her. second i have an acer aspire one netbook and i love it. the only problem is that i can connect to my wireless network but wheni go to network connections i dont see anything. also i recently took my netbook to my cabin and i have wireless up there but i cannot connect to them. any ideas? i have network stumbler but that was just to SEE the networks. but how do i connect to them? any help is appreciated.

    Is your network hidden/have a hidden name (cant remember the name I think it is SS...something)

    it is not hidden because i can see it on the network stumbler program. i have several <aka 2 > computers that are on my wireless networks. and all those have no problems

    im using g yes. is there any software for free that i can download that will let me connect? i also have a dell program but it will only work on that dell laptop but ias there any other program?
