    hi

    i have voyager 105 usb modem and netgear WGR614 wireless router, could i know how to connect both of these and a desktop computer....as i want to share the internet connection ........wirelessly with the laptop

    plz guide me as i dont have ny idea regarding this

    Well, you could connect the modem directly to the computer and enable Internet Connection Sharing on it. The router will also connect to the computer, but will be used as a simple wireless switch. You might even want to disable DHCP functions on the router, so that it doesn't attempt to assign automatic IPs and ends up confusing everyone. Then set static IPs on the main PC and the laptop (I think main PC has to be 192.168.0.1 for Internet Connection Sharing) and you should be ready to go.
