    hi nbr,

    this may sound silly,
    i am having two laptops
    1. hp hdx 16 (intel 5100 agn) running windows 7 connected to wired ethernet
    2. hp compaq (atheros ) running win vista home premium
    i wan to connect both these using wlan .so that i can connect net through my hp compaq also.please help me.i am a noob.
    when select connect to a wireless device i am not able to find any device.are they hiidden .how to make them shown

    You may need to set them to an ad-hoc network. Though really the easiest way is just to get a wireless router... even a cheap wireless G will work.
