Hi, I have got an intel 2200b/g wireless adpater in my notebook with windows xp sp2. I connect to the internet via wifi nad because surfing net is what I usually do with my laptop, i I would like to make wifi automatically start and connect after I start the system. Do you know how to make this happen? The brand of my notebook is Prestigio (Italian - I do not expect you to know;-)).

They may be, but mine definitly is not. If I want to use wifi, I have to physically enable it by pushing a button that is by my keyboard, otherwie wifi is disabled.

Did you try reinstalling the driver/software? Try putting the wireless utlility in the startup folder? Good Luck.

Zazons:Yeh, I just tried to move the wireless utility in the startup foled, but it does not help. It is called wbutton.exe (it is made by Acer) and the strnage thing about it is, that it works (when I start it manually in windows) only if I want to disable the connection, if I want to enable wifi, nothing happen (i must push the real button to do this):-/

Some way you can install the software from the driver disc? Possibly that would force it back to the default. Also I did find wireless zero configuration is in Administrative Tools>Services. Is that set to Automatic?
