I have an Acer Aspire 8930G laptop, and i also have a bluetooth stereo audio receiver.

I have matched the two up and the receiver appears as connected also the red light on the receiver is blue which means it is connected to the laptop.

But i can not get any music to play through it via media player, I want to listen to all sounds (including my music stored on the hard drive) via bluetooth on my hifi system.

dose anyone know what i have to do to configure this correctly to work?

do you have the bluetooth headphones set as the 'default device' under the 'sound' menu in control panel?
